Post Stargate - The Lost Colony Episode 2
I'm starting pre-production on Stargate - The Lost Colony Episode 2 "Spy Games". This is a much longer, more complete storyline. The list of cast, costumes, and props is daunting. At the moment I am looking for people willing to play Atlantis marines. Preferably with your own costume. It will be filmed in the Atlanta area, probably this summer if I can pull together the props and costumes by then. As always, finances are the biggest hindrance. This episode takes place on Atlantis, and involves a terrorist group that has inflitrated the city. Think 'Terra Prime'. There are other roles available as well. There is a fight scene that would be great for someone with martial arts training. Though obviously we will be doing the fake stage fight version.

Anyone willing to loan marine uniforms, Atlantis uniforms, tac vests, or weapons props, we need those too. Anyone loaning a prop will get a mention in the credits.

Great to have you on board! Filming will be mostly on weekends. With one long killer weekend when the out of town folks will be here. From your picture, looks like you have a costume too. Cool! Are you interested in reading for a speaking role or just interested in shooting bad guys?

Kitha,
As always I will help in anyway that I can. I look forward to trying to see you soon as well. You've been missed since your move. I think that some may be interested in both forms of camera time...

I am interested in helping with acting in any way. If you could give more specific dates for filming when you have them that would be a big help. The trek from Maryland to Atlanta is no easy task. Keep us informed. Thanks and I look forward to the new release even if I am not involved.

I know how you feel, Mike, I'd love to be involved if at all possible. The trek is daunting. I was involved with episode 1 and had a blast save for the sun burn but I learned a nice way to avoid the post sun burn head ache and nausia. Please let us know asap as to the dates, I'd like to get the request in asap.

Mike, if you do end up working on this and I can get the time off, I'd be willing to share the driving to maybe make it less of a daunting trip.

Looks like our big filming weekend will be June 11-13. That will not be the only weekend, just the weekend that all the out-of-towners are coming in to get their shots done. This is a full 45 minute episode, and we are NOT filming it all in one weekend. Just the scenes that have the long distance folks in them. Other filming weekends will be worked out with the local folks.

Help!! I just had an actor back out on me, and I need another soldier. If anyone is in the Atlanta area, and is available on June 12-13, I'm looking for a volunteer. It is a small role with a few lines for a soldier/security detail on Atlantis. Please PM me if you are interested.

Good luck and have fun, the Tok'ra Resistance is a great bunch of people and hugely dedicated to their fandom and films. I'm glaad that we were able to help and participation this year. Had it not been so close to ConCarolinas, we might have been able to come down as well. Let us know if we can assist in the future.

The Tok'ra are hard at work filming episode 2. This time it will be a full 45 minute episode. The story takes place on Atlantis past that you will have to watch and see. Yours truly spent this weekend with the Tok'ra and other SG fans in helping with the filming. I have a small part as one of the Atlantis security guards and I did not break the camera or a leg LOL. Filming continues and they hope to have the movie out sometime later this year.

Yeah, if anyone was going to break the camera that day, it was me!

It was a blast being there and working with you guys.

We made it through the first major filming weekend. It was great to work with Jeff and everyone else who came to help out. We are about 2/3 of the way through filming. I have a few updates on the website, and will try to keep it up to date through the remainder of production and post-production.

Its great to see the work done on these films. They are truly an endeavor of fandom passion as well. We all look forward to seeing this completed and to assisting in any ways that we can during its production. I know that Jeff is still talking about the weekend working on this project with you.
