MISSION
Our mission is to gather information through alternative means by clandestine operations, human Intel and electronic Intel in the various fields under jurisdiction of the SSD. Train local indigenous personnel (LIPs), "to win the hearts and minds," to combat the opposing forces when possible with minimum to no casualties, little to no chance of being discovered, captured, or killed.
   

SSD HISTORY & DESCRIPTION
Our team is a inter-branch section of SG-SOCOM. The team is Headquartered in the Eastern Panhandle of WV, but we are open to any that wish to join all over Earth. We here in WV have meetings, online discussions, and role play events such as Stargate Themed weekend with our local paintball/airsoft field.

We are a part of SG-SOCOM, a costume group based of the hit shows Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis. We are fans and do not represent any military element. We hold events and attend events for fun and out of our fandom.

Members are first and foremost part of the SG-SOCOM and must adhere to those guidelines and standards. The SSD plays a support role with in the SG-SOCOM and extends forth in it's Mission and Purpose. 
  

SSD RECRUITMENT
We are always looking for people interested in joining our organization.

Any member on the globe that is already in SG-SOCOM may choose this team. There are many teams to pick from and we do not wish to deter you from them. Our main base is in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia. We are a short 1.5 hour car ride from Washington, D.C. Once we have a substantial number of members globally, we may consider making branch offices for the SSD in the same manner that the FBI has branches world-wide.

UNIFORMS

FIELD & GARRISON UNIFORM:

  • If not on field duty, Shadow Hunter personnel are authorized to wear the standard woodland camo or standard black BDU uniform of the SG-SOCOM, with or without tac vest and shoulder arm(s)
  • Black T-shirt
  • Black boots
  • Headgear for this uniform shall be standard fatigue cap, beret or "boonies hat"
  • Personal sidearm of choice in drop holster
  • Shoulder arms which are authorized include, MP5, FN P90, M4A1, M16A2, M733.
