SG RECON OPERATIONAL PROFILE

The SG-SOCOM RECON TEAM leads the way! They are our pathfinders and some members are most dedicated in their airsoft combat skills. This Team is really coming together and it is made up of real go-getters! 
  

SG RECON - AIRSOFT / PAINTBALL COMBAT TEAM

We are in the formative stages of developing our very own airsoft and paintball combat teams as part of SG-SOCOM. The Command Staff have direct oversight at this time. Representing our team in this way, members accept full responsibility and liability for/on themselves. Proper safety gear and equipment is required. Having a competition-based paintball, AEG (auto-electric gun) or gas operated airsoft gun in prime operating condition is strongly encouraged. Airsoft snipers may use springers, but will need a high performance sidearm to compliment their role. Paintball events have already been held in West Virginia and there has been limited attendance at both Maryland and Virginia airsoft events by individual members. There will be more to come once these teams are fully identified and functional. Participation at all such event does require the agreement and signing of both SG-SOCOM's and the individual site's Waiver Forms.
  
UNIFORMS

FIELD & GARRISON UNIFORM:

  • If not on field duty, SG Recon personnel are authorized to wear the standard woodland camo or standard black BDU uniform of the SG-SOCOM, with or without tac vest and shoulder arm(s)
  • Black T-shirt
  • Black boots
  • Headgear for this uniform shall be standard fatigue cap, beret or "boonies hat"
  • Personal sidearm of choice in drop holster (silencer a bonus)
  • Shoulder arms which are authorized include, MP5, FN P90, M4A1, M16A2, M733.
