VARIATIONS = OFFWORLD SG TEAMS, OFFWORLD SGC (NON-TEAM) PERSONNEL, NON-SGC
US MILITARY AND CIVILIAN PERSONNEL ON OFFWORLD MISSIONS (NO PATCHES)
The standard "Olive Drab" costume is made of of the following items from the bottom up :
1) Black Magnum "Response" (formerly known as "Trooper") or Magnum "Stealth" boots.
(Seasons 1-8) (Seasons 9-10)
Both, available at Quartermaster, but nearly any police type tactical boot will do (canvas or nylon sides, but not the Jungle boot style)
2) OD Green BDU trousers (they use ripstop, but you don't have to...we recommend polyester/cotton twill; though it may be easier to color-match with ripstop)

3) OD Green BDU belt

4) Black Tee Shirt or mock-turtleneck (no pocket)

5) OD Green WEP G-8 jacket* (they use a custom made jacket in ripstop) or Sage Green
Nylon WEP G-8 jacket (Pilot episode only, made by Spiewak)

Unmodified (original Navy/USMC pattern) G-8 WEP jackets in Nylon and/or Mountain Cloth fabrics are available from Gibson & Barnes.
6)Stargate patches: 3.5" SG Project, 4" SG Team, and 3" A51AP (added post Season 5)*
SGC personnel (non-Team members) on off-world missions use the SGC patch in place of the Team patch.

7) Blackhawk Omega Medic/Utility Vest in Black
Also used in Season 7 is the Omega Tactical Vest 1 in Black:
This particular vest appears to not have the "sniper shoulder" of the currently available version; others seen do have it ("Fallen").

14) Black gloves - O'Neill likes to use Nomex Aviator's (Flight) gloves with the finger tips cut off.
15) Weapons! Standard sidearms are the H&K MP5A3/A5, the FN P-90* & the Beretta M-92 pistol.
Many M-16/M-4 variants have also been used, as have the M-249 SAW and M-60 MGs.

16) The Two-Way radio used by SG-1 is the Motorola VISAR with the 2.5" 'stubby' antenna.
With the Black Vest, this radio is usually represented (on the show) by a modified version of the same
VISAR radio with a bright red LED installed on the front to denote when an actor is transmitting.
(as seen in many scenes where the actor is holding the radio in their hand.)
Unmodified Motorola VISAR radios can be found nearly every day on eBay for $75-$125 US.
